In 2017, trauma survivor, storytelling coach, and author Jade Eby set out to combine her two passions: trauma recovery and fiction writing. The result was a method of approaching the writing process and an incredibly powerful way to promote the healing of trauma.

Since the dawn of mankind, we’ve communicated and learned about the world through stories. The ancient Egyptians relied upon stories in the form of pictographs to truly understand one another. Later, the great empires of the world relied upon mythology to educate and comprehend the world. It’s our opinion that as a society, we’ve forgotten the healing properties of personal and creative expression.
